Lidsing Garden Community moves a step closer to adoption

Following Hume Planning’s coordination of the consultant team on behalf of the land owner, we are pleased that the second stage Examination interim report of the Inspector continues to support the Lidsing Garden Allocation. This will be inclusive of a new local centre, 14 hectares of employment land and up to 2000 dwellings. Maidstone look likely to publish main modifications shortly and it is currently anticipated the plan will be adopted in early 2024, which will trigger community consultation and progression of a comprehensive Master Plan, which Hume Planning and the land owner are keen to advance.
