Approval secured for a “State of the Art” Community and Sports Hub alongside 34 houses serving New Romney

Continuing Hume Planning’s commitment to sport and housing delivery, the Practice has recently helped to secure permission for Sunningdale, a regional housebuilder, which will see the delivery of 88 dwellings with an all surface playing pitch, pavilion and car park on part of a former KCC playing field.

Lawful Development Certificate Secured for Annexe in Densole

Hume Planning has successfully secured a Lawful Development Certificate for the independent residential occupation of an annexe in Densole, originally approved as an ancillary use to part of a residential cul-de-sac.

The importance for housebuilders of approved plans and discharging conditions

Hume Planning has been successful in negotiating a compromise to avoid the threat of enforcement action to demolish a development (an original permission which Hume Planning had secured) by a family run house-builder in Westgate, comprising 4 buildings and 33 apartments, most of which were occupied when the breach was identified.
