Officer support for new dwelling on underutilised garden land along London Road in Ramsgate

Key issues associated with the proposals comprised of the impacts on both the character of the streetscene and neighbour amenity, however following successful negotiations with officers, a positive solution was reached and permission was granted on an underutilised portion of garden land associated with the existing property.

It is understood that construction is due to commence shortly and once constructed, the dwelling will make a small but meaningful windfall contribution to the district’s housing supply.
