Overnight at the orchard: holiday lets secured on a working orchard in the countryside

Hume Planning Consultancy has successfully obtained planning permission for the change of use of land to accommodate 8 shepherd’s huts for holiday lets in Eastry.

The huts will provide a unique opportunity for high quality overnight stays in the setting of a working orchard, well-connected to existing walking and cycling routes. Hume Planning Consultancy is pleased to have secured the diversification of use of this part of the site, which will continue to support the local tourist economy at a time when many will be looking towards (re-) discovering the countryside staycation market.
