Planning Permission Secured for New Office Use within Ashdown Forest

Navigating the stringent policy safeguards for development within the Ashdown Forest (Special Protection Area & Special Area of Conservation) and overcoming a negative planning history, Hume Planning Consultancy has secured planning permission for the conversion of a former stable block to provide new office accommodation. Constructive dialogue with Council officers on matters relating to ecological safeguards, heritage, tree constraints and access design enabled the initial barriers to permission to be overcome. The sympathetic conversion brings a vacant characterful building back into use to provide sustainably located employment premises within this unique setting.
