Construction is at advanced stages on the redevelopment of a range of employment buildings at Hoo Farm to create 23 dwellings. The site lies between the villages of Minster and Monkton and although lying outside the designated settlement boundary, it was accepted by the LPA that the housing need and environmental and landscape enhancements secured by the development would on balance, outweigh the conflict with policy. The scheme is being delivered by family-run developers Roddy New Homes and will provide a wide choice of rural homes and a new footpath connection.
