5 family houses approved within a wooded (group TPO) setting in Broadstairs

After inheriting an overgrown site with a long standing and negative planning history, the Hume Planning Team proposed a new approach to overcoming the many site issues including, ecology, BNG, design, tree retention (the site was subject to a Group TPO) and the quantum ,design and siting of the dwellings themselves within this Area of High Townscape Value.  The planning strategy needed to be tested with a planning appeal but has finally (after a further resubmission) been granted in July  2025.  We look forward to the approved family dwellings being delivered in Lindenthorpe Road which we believe will enhance the streetscene character.
