APPROVAL FOR RESIDENTIAL REDEVELOPMENT OF A BROWNFIELD SITE IN DEAL
A resolution to grant permission has been secured for a previously developed windfall site on the edge of Deal following Dover District Council’s recent planning committee meeting on Thursday 18th December 2025.
A residential development of 43 dwellings was proposed on an existing brownfield site, adjoining the settlement boundary of Deal and located within Flood Zones 2 and 3. During the course of the application, the Hume Planning Team worked collaboratively with flood risk and highway specialists as well as the Council in order to resolve technical matters. Hume Planning Consultancy also produced a Sequential Test as part of the planning submission, which was accepted by the Council as a robust assessment.
Kentish Projects are pleased to have received the resolution to grant and look forward to progressing to the construction phase following the approval of conditions.
